You can easily reach Deiva Marina in Liguria
By motorway if you want to arrive quickly:
Coming from north – east and so from the borders at Trieste and Tarvisio, from Veneto or from the towns of Venice,
Padua, Ferrara you can reach Bologna and then you can choose to go towards Firenze, Lucca, La Spezia,
exit of the motorway of Deiva Marina, then 8 km of normal road until the centre of the village.
Or after Bologna you can take the direction to Parma and then La Spezia. The travel is 20 Km shorter but more curvy.
Coming from Brennero,
it’s surely easier to go towards Verona, Mantova, Modena, Parma, La Spezia, Deiva Marina.
From the border with Switzerland
of Chiasso or from Como, Varese, Bergamo, you go to Milan, Genoa, Sestri Levante, and so Deiva Marina.
From S Bernardo tunnel,
from Mont Blanc, Valle d’Aosta or from Frejus Tunnel and Piemonte, you reach Turin,
then Alessandria, Genoa, Sestri Levante and eventually Deiva Marina.
Coming from the Cote d’Azur,
or from the western Riviera of Liguria you reach Savona, Genova, Sestri Levante and Deiva Marina.
If you come from Tuscany or South Italy,
you can reach Livorno, Pisa, La Spezia and the exit of Deiva Marina along the A12.
By ordinary roads, if you are not on hurry and you’d like to enjoy the landscape.
Mainly if you travel by motorbike, and not during winter, you can drive through the Appenine Crossings of Rastello,
Cento Croci, Bocco, Cisa or travel through the Valleys Fontana Buona or D’Aveto, or, all over the year,
take the state Road Aurelia, which joins all the villages of the Eastern Riviera.
Reaching us by train if you want to travel without concerns,
we remind you that Deiva Marina has its own Train Station, next to the centre and close to the sea,
along the railway line Genova, S.Margerita-Portofino, Sestri Levante, Cinque Terre, La Spezia, easily reachable from every part of Italy.
Some trains don’t stop at Deiva Marina’s station, it’s wise to check in advance, in order to plan a connection in Sestri Levante or Levanto.
By plane, thanks to the offers of low cost flights,
at Genoa Airport, located about 70 Km west to Deiva Marina, connected by bus or taxi to the Train Station Genova Principe,
or at Pisa Airport, at about 100 km east from Deiva Marina, equipped by its own train station of bus to reach the main train station in Pisa.
Coming by boat if you come from Corsica or Sardinia,
in some hours you reach ports of La Spezia and Genoa or if necessary Savona or Livorno.
Many ferryboats from Sicily, Tunisia, Spain and Morocco dock at Genoa’s port.
A ferry boat service, works just in summer from Portofino, run by Navigazione Golfo Paradiso
or Battellieri del Tigullio, from Portovenere and Cinqueterre, run by Navigazione Golfo dei Poeti.
